The bunch of greedy promoter + Biman & others TOOK ADVANTAGE of his BELIEF. For daring to dream an impossible dream, the weakness of Mr. Dutta-Roy was EXPLOITED. He is in trouble now for his BELIEF IN A GREENER PLANET.
You see, my dear Reader..this World has 2 types of people :
1. BELIEVERS.
2. NON-BELIEVERS.
Unfortunately, we are living in a world of 99% non-believers, hypocrites busy on making money ...
Of course, he is just a speck, an infinitesimally small speck when compared to the greats, such as :
Al Gore, Maneka Gandhi, Valmik Thapar, Peter Jackson, Belinda Wright , Steve Irwin, Jill Phepps, Billy Arjan Singh , the Andersons ...the nameless selfless forest officer/rangers of India only, who have been killed in the line of duty..
Let us examine Mr. Debajyoti Dutta Roy's own work. He does this because he gets DIVINE JOY from it..A joy that gives him great satisfaction..
PAST WORK OF MR. DEBAJYOTI DUTTA ROY :
- He had saved the lives / raised probably 10+ cats/kittens. Many of them were in succession...sometimes in bunches of 2 or 3.(since he was a kid). Many of them were in critical condition...hurt after being mauled by dogs. Or abandoned kittens.
ON MANY OCCASIONS, HAD GONE OUT OF HIS WAY TO PROTECT THESE ANIMALS. - Mr.D. Dutta-Roy loves all animals, especially the furry ones.. Always pats a roadside cat or dog, just to encourage them...In fact, dear Reader, you can try this with “your heart”..you will get great satisfaction.
- He had worked for the WWF Conservation Action Network (CAN) to Stop Tiger Farming in China, being one of the 26,000 global signatories.
- E-campaigned for various other issues like stopping oil exploration in the Alaskan Protected Region, Global Warming, protection of keystone predators in Africa, etc.
Writing e-mails to senators on various issues like stopping tiger & Big Cats poaching, snow leopard habitat protection, etc. - Had bought T-shirts with pics of cheetahs, pandas to support WWF and other organizations. In short, he had spent time & labor without getting any monetary benefits. While driving in the U.S., he has risked his life veering off to the opposite lane to save a crossing squirrel or a cat's life..
- He has donated money (a very insignificant amount) without informing anybody a certain aged 91 year old Professor (who he will name upon request) and 80 year old wife's family. They support 17 cats & 10 dogs. Have given them moral support. This elderly couple is fighting against hostile neighbors. Though the cats are safe till now, the dogs are being killed one by one. From his own experience, Mr. Dutta-Roy has realized it is easy to save the life of 1 cat, but saving a total of 27+ or more cats & dogs is real tough. .It requires an organization’s field-work…no other way.
- He also writes / posts articles in his blogs / publications in the Internet. Which are testimony to the fact that he derives great joy (spiritual in intensity) from Nature, and its lesser creatures.
Note : His mother, in fact both his parents share this passion...but how can one carry out good work if one is afraid...?
He would request his mother to DONATE 1/3 OF THE SHARE to start a Wildlife & Environmentalism Fund. It seems as if the soul of Late Amitabha Sen has bestowed upon them this Gift from God.
WILDLIFE TRUST OBJECTIVES:
Late Mr. Amitabha Sen’s name will remain ETERNAL through the work that will be done through this Trust.
It will be God's Own Work.
Mr. D. Dutta-Roy has promised to God Himself not to make a single penny / cent/ paisa of money from this Fund. Let the GOI/ WB State do the Audits..let any independent global organization do the Audit…
Objectives:
• Saving Eco-systems. This is one of the most difficult tasks.
• Saving keystone predators like the Bengal Tiger, snow leopards, Gangetic dolphins, red pandas, • Afforestation (Planting trees)….Has identified SPECIFIC Project Sites also in West Bengal. As also Uttarakhand. Note that Uttarakhand people are VERY ENVIRONMENT-CONSCIOUS...and great work can be done over there.Field trips have to be taken. BIODIVERSITY OF PROJECT AREA HAS TO BE STUDIED. After that the afforestation Project has to be undertaken. You have no idea how tough it is to START and MAINTAIN a 1 km. X 1 km forest.
• Massive e-campaigning through the Internet.
• Raising Awareness through the usage of Media
• Tie-up with World Wildlife Fund (WWF), People for Animals (PFA),Cat Specialist Group,Greenpeace,Save the Elephants, etc. to make a difference.
• Saving cats and other pets within our own city.
• DONATE money to NEEDY people / family, who are carrying out God’s work by feeding/giving shelter to 15 cats & 10 dogs.
• Protest / Campaign against rogue people in the future for killing endangered species.• Eco-Spiritualism..every Religion espouses tolerance towards the lesser creatures. Read the scriptures carefully. Mr. Dutta-Roy has a deep love for Nature...having spent 400+ days of his life in the Himalayas and mountains..
• Network with similar smaller organizations within West Bengal for e-campaign / joint ventures...
NOTE : Specific Project Area / Projects have been identified by Mr. Debajyoti Dutta-Roy to carry out this Work. HE HAS ALSO IDENTIFIED PEOPLE WHO WILL SERVE SELFLESSLY FOR THE WILDLIFE AND ENVIRONMENTAL 100% NON-PROFIT CAUSE.
IN FACT, A SMALL CORE TEAM IS ALREADY BEING FORMED..
HAS PLEDGED NOT TO TAKE A SINGLE PENNY FROM THIS WORLD LIFE FUND.....
Of course, the percentage that is his Mother's belongs to his mother Mrs. Pratima Dutta-Roy nee Sen.
There has been good work w.r.t. afforestation and saving of endangered species in the State of West Bengal..
Do note : Mr. Dutta-Roy is 100% neutral politically..but would like to help in AFFORESTATION PROJECTS AND THE ABOVE MENTIONED PROJECTS...
A few writings of Mr. Debajyoti Dutta-Roy could be examined also to understand his passion. His passion is also endorsed by individuals/relatives/friends.
Since 2003...for 5 years he had prayed to God, praying that if something is granted….from Heaven itself...he made a promise to God that he would donate 1/3 (34%) of the money to Environmental & Wildlife Protection Causes. Out of this 1/3 share of money not a single penny will be taken up by him.
It is this BELIEF in this CAUSE that has kept him going all these months fighting all alone against 10+ people, UNITED in HUMAN GREED.He believes God..probably through the SPIRIT OF HIS LATE UNCLE MR. AMITABHA SEN...has answered his prayers.
It was this Belief that kept him fighting tirelessly for 8 months......the treachery has taken a heavy toll on his physical and mental health..
He asks like-minded people to Join the Struggle for a Greener Planet.
